What Are Chats? 

• Chats Overview: 
  
  • Each chat is linked to a specific phone number. 
  • Chats are designed for one-on-one communication, meaning you’ll have a private thread with each contact. 
  • All messages, whether sent through campaigns, surveys, or received from contacts, appear in the chat. 

Managing Chats 

• Default Chat Assignment: 
  • When you join Treply, you’re automatically assigned your own chat and become the owner. This chat is linked to your default phone number and is where you’ll handle your direct communications. Assigning Chats to Others: 
    • Only chat owners and organization admins can reassign chats. Click on the three-dot menu (kebab menu) next to the chat you want to assign. Select Assign from the dropdown menu. Choose the member from the list to whom you want to assign the chat. 
       
     
     
    • Adding Contacts to Chats: 
      • Click the plus icon at the top of the chat window. Use the search bar to find the contact you want to add. Select the contacts and add them to the chat.

    • URL Shorteners: Create short, manageable links and track their performance.
