Is Treply a 100% opt-in service?+
Yes. Treply Text is a 100% opt-in service. We do not provide lists of phone numbers, and we do not access or share our users' contact lists.
Subscription and billing
How is Treply priced?+
Treply is enterprise-only. Pricing scales with your monthly send volume, the carrier rates of your destination countries, and the team size you need. We share actual numbers on a 30-minute demo — book one and we'll walk you through it.
How do I change or upgrade my plan?+
Plan and seat changes are made from your dashboard under Settings → Billing → Manage Subscription. Pick your new plan, set the seat quantity, and confirm payment.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?+
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time, but the changes will take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
Do you offer a non-profit discount?+
Yes. Verified non-profits get a meaningful discount on the platform fee. Mention it on your demo call and we'll set it up.
Features
What is Triggly and how does it work?+
Triggly is Treply's keyword automation feature. It lets you set automated responses and generate contact groups based on keyword-triggered SMS replies — no code, no glue scripts.
How do surveys work in Treply?+
You can send SMS surveys to groups or individual contacts, and Treply provides detailed reports based on the responses. Survey results flow back into your contact records for segmentation.
Can I schedule messages in Treply?+
Yes. Treply lets you schedule SMS and MMS campaigns to be sent at specific dates and times, with per-recipient timezone enforcement so quiet hours are respected automatically.
What integrations are built in?+
CRM, e-commerce platforms, social media, and WhatsApp Business. Custom integrations via webhooks. Most teams ship a custom integration in under a week.
What about MMS and WhatsApp?+
MMS is generally available in the US and Canada. WhatsApp Business integration is fully supported, including templates and interactive messages.
Compliance & security
Is Treply GDPR-compliant?+
Yes. Treply complies with GDPR and other data protection regulations, ensuring that your customer data is safe and secure. EU customers can opt into data residency in the EU.
How do you handle TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and CASL?+
STOP, HELP, and START keywords are auto-handled across every channel. Quiet hours and per-region opt-out lists are enforced at the infrastructure level. See /sms-compliance for the full breakdown of how we handle each regulation.
What happens when someone replies STOP?+
The recipient is suppressed instantly across all of your senders on Treply. There is no exception. STOP is per-sender by default; users can also opt out globally from every Treply customer.
Is data encrypted?+
Yes. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard ciphers, with least-privilege access controls and routine third-party security assessments.
Technical & support
How do I contact support if I have an issue?+
Use the Help Center in your dashboard, or email info@treply.so. We respond within 48 hours. For enterprise customers, you also get a direct line to your customer success team.
Do you have a REST API?+
Yes, plus webhooks. The same API powers our own dashboard — there is no 'enterprise-only' surface area.
How long does onboarding take?+
Most customers are sending their first campaign within a few days. Full onboarding — including 10DLC registration, integration setup, and team training — is typically wrapped within two weeks.
Can you help us migrate from another platform?+
Yes. We've migrated customers off most major SMS platforms. Our team handles list import, opt-in status preservation, sender swap, and campaign rebuilds.
